and Ansel Adams, I wanted to be able to produce that type of black
and white fine art photography. As part of the learning process,
I attended workshops by Brett Weston and Ansel Adams and I taught
myself the Zone System technique that was first developed by Adams.

Dennis
Merrill
As a young child growing up in Louisiana I had a fondness for photography. Using a plastic snap shot camera was a great way to share memories with family and friends. Over the years I have enjoyed traveling often and photography has allowed me the opportunity to continue sharing many of these experiences with friends that I've made over the years.

James
McClain
Even from the earliest days of remembrance, James McClain has had
a consuming passion for art. Having been raised in the sign industry,

Helen Betz
Working in abstract expressionism, Helen uses acrylic, colored pencil and collage to express feeling through color and texture. She wants her paintings to express a bit of the mystery of life. Garcia

Susan A. Winton
Born and raised in Stockton, Susan remembers being encouraged by
her artistic grandmother to draw, paint and explore creatively.

Jessie
Wong
Jessie has been using clay as her art medium since 2000. She is humbled by the medium because blunt force will not make clay obey; she must learn to be one with it. She loves sharing her joy for clay with others. Her goal is to have clay create the same positive influence in people’s
lives as it does in hers. Jessie tries to incorporate her love of animals
and nature into her pottery because they have so much to teach us when we
are able to listen.
