Jorge received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of the Pacific in 1994, with a focus on drawing and painting.  He appeared on the Dean’s Honor Roll several times during his tenure.

An award-winning artist, he received the Stockton Art League Award and Honorable Mention in the 37th Annual Unitarian Fall Art Festival in 1995.

In 1996 Jorge was named Artist of the Year by the Musse Des Beaux Arts D’Unet in Paris.  In 1997 he took a third place, and in 1998 a first and third at the San Joaquin County Fair, all for watercolors.  Also in 1998 he won an Award of Merit in the Northern California Arts Show at the Sacramento Fine Art Center.  He again took a first award at the 2000 San Joaquin County Fair in acrylics.

Jorge has exhibited in Mexico, California, Paris and Miami.  A member of Artistas del Valle, he is available for commissions and free-lance engagements.
