As a young child growing up in Louisiana I had a fondness for photography.  Using a plastic snap shot camera was a great way to share memories with family and friends. Over the years I have enjoyed traveling often and photography has allowed me the opportunity to continue sharing many of these experiences with friends that I’ve made over the years.

Since retiring from my previous employment several years ago, I have been able to devote more time to pursuing my interest in photography by sorting through the many images taken over the years and printing those I especially enjoy.

My subject matter is varied and contains many images of places that I have traveled – be it a few miles from my home in Stockton or around the world.  I work mainly in color but on occasion will print in black and white.

Several years ago I took on a new challenge and changed from film based photography to the digital realm.  I am now able to do certain “darkroom” activities that for lack of space and equipment I could not do in the past. In addition, this has given me a new freedom with many possibilities for experimentation and ways of changing an image.
